Assassin’s Creed Valhalla among 13 games announced for Xbox Series X - MW
Microsoft unveiled 13 upcoming games on its Xbox Series X console when it launched this winter. In an hour-long presentation, broadcast live on Thursday, the company announced the recent release of popular titles like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, as well as Madden NFL 21 and Yakuza: Like a Dragon, everything will be available on Xbox Series X.
There is also Paradox Interactive's vampire adventure, Vampire: The Superman - Bloodlines 2. Codemasters presented its DiRT 5 pilots with impressive lighting and mud-shooting effects, and the possibility of running at high speed. 4K at 60 fps or less at 120 fps. Namco Bandai is showing a new anime-style science fiction thriller called Scarlet Nexus, about a group of spiritual law enforcement officials.
The rest of the game is from independent studios: the first-person first-person shooter called Bright Memory Infinite has arrived on PC; supernatural horror game The Medium by Blair Witch, creator of the Bloober Team (with music by Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka); a 1930s puzzle adventure called Call of the Sea by Swedish independent publisher Raw Fury; Deep Silver Choir Combat Shooter; The Ascent from Curve Digital cyber action role-playing game; Second extinction, a three-player cooperative dinosaur shooter from Systemic Reaction; and finally, Scorn, a first-person horror adventure set in a grim dream world of Giger developed by the Serbian team Ebb.
The games will support the main technical features of the Xbox Series X such as animation of 120 frames per second, ray tracing in real time and ultra fast loading time. Nine of the titles, including Assassin storming Creed Valhalla, will support Microsoft's new Smart Delivery technology, allowing players to purchase a version of the game that will then run on Xbox One or in dark formats. Speaking during the live stream, Ashraf Ismail, creative director of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, said that Assassin Creed is always committed to new technologies to promote the experience. Having extremely fast load times means we can create a much more immersive RPG. Norway and England are living worlds and unleashing their potential is incredible.
Microsoft also confirmed that the 15 of its proprietary studios were working on Xbox One X projects, but were not showing footage during the broadcast. During the streaming process, Matt Booty, head of Xbox studios, announced that the game would be revealed starting in July, including Halo Infinite.
An exact launch date for the next generation console has not been confirmed outside of the 2020-2020 holiday season. A price has not been released.
With major game events canceled worldwide, the company has announced that it will broadcast a series of monthly online news broadcasts called Xbox 20/20, showing trailers. and interview with the developer.
