Coronavirus: Italy death toll rises to 21 as UK confirms 20th case – live updates - MW

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced the dismissal of two senior Islamic corruption officials at a meeting on coronaviruses in Politburo.

The Party daily Rodong Sinmun and the North Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Saturday that the leader had dismissed two officials of the Korean Workers' Party (QPK) for corruption. Both are vice-chairmen of the central committee.

They have been severely criticized by Kim Jong Unv and their seriousness and consequences have been clearly analyzed, which is Rodong's report on the front page.

Two more cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Australia overnight, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 25.

One of those women is a 63-year-old woman on the Gold Coast in Queensland, currently at the Gold Coast Hospital. The woman recently returned from Iran, which emerged as a hot spot for the disease with the second highest death toll outside China. The Iranian Deputy Minister of Health Iraj Harirchi tested positive a few days ago.

Authorities in Queensland are currently trying to track down women's movements to identify who she may have been in contact with. We are expecting a press conference about this soon.

This is the ninth case in Queensland. Three cases were passengers from the Diamond Princess cruise ship, and another five were those who traveled to the Golden Coast from Wuhan province during the holiday.

Markets around the world have been very successful and the Chinese economy has experienced the worst decline in two decades. The technology-focused Dow, S&P 500, and Nasdaq all fell about 3%, while other markets also fell.
The UN Security Council has decided to lift certain economic sanctions against North Korea to help it fight the virus. Pyongyang still says it has not reported any cases.
